Senior Pega Developer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Pega Developer to join a Scrum team focused on building major functions in Debit Claims. This role involves providing deep technical expertise in all aspects of solution design and application development. The position focuses on setting the technical direction of applications and ensuring the delivery of technically robust solutions that meet all business, architectural, and technological constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and implement model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions using Pega PRPC.
  • Provide technical expertise in solution design and application development for specific business environments.
  • Set technical direction for applications and related technologies.
  • Ensure solutions are technically robust and meet all business, architecture, and technology constraints.
  • Manage code migration from development through to production.
  • Work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors.
  • Operate under minimal supervision, with general guidance from senior team members or managers.
  • Assign work and resolve problems as needed, providing work leadership to the team.
Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Experience: 7+ years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions using Pega Systems PRPC.

Experience: 1+ years of experience in an Agile Scrum methodology.

Technical Skills
  • Pega / PegaRules Process Commander (PRPC).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Object-Oriented techniques and principles.
  • Exposure to a variety of technologies, including J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java) and Oracle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pega CSSA certification.
