DISTRICT MANAGER

COMPENSATION: $60,000 - $85,000 annually

We are looking to employ a hard-working and sales-driven District Sales Manager to manage the sales operations within an assigned district and ensure that company sales goals are achieved. The District Sales Managerโ€™s responsibilities include identifying professional development opportunities for sales employees, encouraging positive employee relations, and continually sourcing new sales opportunities. They should also be able to set reasonable sales targets to be achieved by the district sales team and ensure that those targets are met.

To be successful as a District Sales Manager, you should be able to keep abreast of evolving market trends and consumer needs. Ultimately, an exceptional District Sales Manager should be able to work well under pressure as well as demonstrate excellent management, communication, and customer service skills.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, marketing, or related field. In lieu of education, 2 years of proven history of retail management.
  • Familiar with geographic region preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
  • The ability to multitask.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work at multiple locations within a district (territory may include several zip codes)
LINES OF AUTHORITY

District Manager is directly responsible to the COO (Corporate Operations Officer).

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Recruiting, training, and leading sales managers and associates in order to maximize gross profit and key performance metrics.
  • Set regional goals for each location.
  • Ensure monthly inventory is completed timely from each location.
  • Work directly with corporate to ensure pricing and inventory control and reports.
  • Ensure sales and promotional plans drive sales and productivity.
  • Ensure each location is abiding by all CDC Guidelines (wear masks, sanitize before and after customers, wash hands regularly, social distance)
  • Building and sustaining solid relationships with both existing and potential customers, the first point of contact should issue arise beyond the manager.
  • Providing regular feedback to the Chief Operating Officer on company marketing and product development needs as well as pricing recommendations.
  • Developing and managing effective sales strategies to maximize company sales and profitability.
  • Conducting employee evaluations and suggesting improvements as required.
  • Researching and monitoring market trends, competitors' sales activities, and consumer needs.
  • Completing sales reports and submitting them to upper management for review.
  • Assisting in the development of marketing campaigns that are designed to expand brand recognition and highlight the benefits of company products and services.
  • Team Building: Build high-performing sales teams through effective recruitment, orientation, training, development, motivation, coaching of store managers and wireless consultants.
  • Delivering top-notch sales and operations results for all locations within assigned areas.
  • Being the role model (servant leader) for store managers in all aspects of the job and demonstrating a professional, high-performing, ethical image.
  • Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Scheduling: Assist store managers in scheduling to ensure business needs are met.
  • Ensure in-store presentation standards are maintained to carrier audit standards including housekeeping, merchandising, signage, and maintenance of sales, stock, and common areas.
  • Team Communication: Accountable to ensure communications from senior management are funneled down to all staff, fully understood, and immediately implemented.
  • Asset Protection: Accountable for the protection of company assets by following established policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Achieves sales objectives by preparing a monthly action plan, motivating team members, analyzing performance metrics, and initiating corrective actions.
