POSITION OPEN ANNOUNCEMENT
District Ambassador - Career Exploration Lab (Part-Time)
General Description: The District Ambassador will provide supervision and activities to support the efforts of the Career Exploration Lab in particular and the MVCTC in general. The District Ambassador will perform in such a manner as to ensure the best experience for visiting partner school students and the staff and students of the MVCTC.
Qualifications:
  1. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school graduation
  2. Ability to frequently traverse the entire campus in a variety of weather conditions
  3. Ability to supervise, monitor, ensure the safety and well-being, and interact positively with middle school students
  4. Excellent customer service skills
  5. Willingness to work a part-time as-needed schedule
  6. Good knowledge of the District's course offerings and programs
  7. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  8. Ability to exercise tact, good judgment, and initiative
  9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  10. Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written directions in a changing academic environment

Salary: $19.00 per hour
