ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager, Distributor / Customer Marketing & Iconic Brands Segment will lead a marketing team focused on accelerating growth across the SC Johnson Professional portfolio, including Iconic Brands, Skin Care, and Floor & Surface products. This highly collaborative role partners with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to develop customer and distributor strategies, drive promotional programs, and deliver against key business KPIs. The Manager will also help shape the future of the portfolio through New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD), while collaborating across SC Johnson business units to align go-to-market strategies and unlock growth opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop an annual marketing calendar including key initiatives, sales tools, and post initiative reviews.
  • Establish a clear, concise annual promotional calendar that clearly lays out the items of focus both quarterly and for the year.
  • Work with sales, marketing and finance to assess effectiveness of current programming and marketing promotional calendar. This would include
    • Solicit and capture feedback from distributors and sales team continuously on effectiveness of our programming and promotional calendar.
    • Review effectiveness of programs/promotions via feedback and examining actual results vs objectives.
    • Incorporate feedback and analysis into programs and promotional calendar changes/adjustments on a continual basis.
  • Tactically support the execution of key promotions by providing appropriate marketing materials, sales tools and execution guidance to facilitate high level of execution across sales team.
  • Work with NACB to manage the NPD/EPD processes as appropriate for Professional branded products and bring innovation to light.
  • Accelerate innovation between LSB and NACB.
  • Act as a liaison between Pro and NACB and LSB to ensure that our go to market strategies do not conflict with each other.
  • Ensure appropriate wiring of Associate Managers' coverage/ownership of distributor population based on aligned prioritization with sales and leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with communications, graphic design team, and sales teams to provide direction and support needed to develop sales tools, marketing materials, digital presence, trade shows, print collateral, newsletters, advertising, promotions, special events and other ad hoc opportunities.
  • Ensure appropriate support for select/priority distributor trade shows in the form of booth displays, banners, literature, samples and more.
  • Support customer product item setup process to ensure our products are consistently setup correctly in our customers' POS systems, etc.
  • Support Sales by managing distributor requests for sales and marketing assets across multiple channels and including ecommerce.
  • Support New Item Product Lifecycle by proactively monitoring availability of images, maintaining communications with agencies on timing of images and enforcing image deadlines with such agencies.
  • Monitor, manage and communicate all Iconic Brand product changes to Sales, Customer and Product Supply teams. Ensure that all team product files, item code change files, marketing and media assets that feature these codes are updated timely.
  • Work within a team managing assets and content used within the SC Johnson Professional website while implementing timely content to engage customers.
  • Provide project and analytic support and perspective for distributor growth initiatives and other investments.
  • Work with RD&E, GSARA and Legal as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Project Management or related field.
  • 7+ years of work experience supporting sales and marketing teams
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for future sponsorship

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Full-time position, regular business hours, Monday-Friday
  • This role is located at the SC Johnson Professional Corporate Office in Charlotte, NC
  • Remote work available once a week after 90-day onboarding period
