    Primary Responsibilities
    The Retail Merchandiser is responsible for stocking, rotating, and merchandising KeHE supplied product for assigned customers within a region. To be successful in this role, the Retail Merchandiser must understand the movement of products and prioritization of temp zones. A Retail Merchandiser should be knowledgeable of stores' products and provide customers with useful information to improve shopping experience and strengthen the overall relationship with customer. As with all KeHE employees, individuals must perform all duties in alignment with KeHE's mission, vision and core values.
    Essential Functions
    • Stock, rotate, and merchandise KeHE supplied products for assigned customers within the region.
    • Remove products from pallets and sort products on carts by using aisle numbers on pick labels.
    • Maintain productivity of pre-defined number of cases per hour.
    • Work on various projects as assigned including but not limited to: new item cut-in, category resets, "best-buy" and code checks, shelf and product maintenance, and emergency deliveries.
    • Assist with product placement and positioning on store shelves. Create attractive displays for goods.
    • Promote customer service through assisting customers with queries and questions.
    • Utilization of platform/application in checking in and out of location, as well as tracking of assigned projects and completion.
    • Maintain good attendance, safe work practices and maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
    • Act as back-up to Field Sales Representative/Territory Sales Assistant and perform assigned duties when needed.
    • Working backstock, building new displays, and new item placement as necessary.
    • Attend and participate in team and/or regional sales meetings as requested.
    • Other duties and special assignments as assigned by management.

    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently without direct on-site supervision.
    • Keep a clean and organized workspace.
    • Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy merchandise
    • Break down pallets using minimal space
    • Ability to follow information in a schematic format.
    • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
    • Interact and communicate effectively and professionally with retail team and store personnel
    • Be courteous to shoppers and assist with general questions.
    • Comfortable performing multi-faceted tasks in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
    • Willingness to jump in and support with ad-hoc assignments and queries.
    • Positive, professional, and friendly disposition.
