Job description

Work Location: Indianapolis, IN (onsite)
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST
Overtime: Occasional
This role supports the Distribution Warehouse Operations (DWO) team in tendering critical clinical trial finished goods through the K401 Distribution Hub to domestic & international clinical sites, depots, & hubs.
The role will serve as a key operational resource for K401 leadership, associates, & operators, assisting with inbound & outbound processing of clinical trial finished goods while maintaining strict compliance with quality & regulatory standards.
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Assist operators day-to-day through the completion of receiving, inventory, shipping, stickering, supply management, destruction, & special projects of clinical trial finished goods at the K401 CT Distribution Warehouse.
  • Assist in writing, reviewing, & managing K401 procedures, tools, trainings, & related documentation.
  • Proactively support assigned elements of K401 decisions guided by policy, procedure, & business plan to positively impact the team's ability to meet performance objectives.
  • Understand & promote adherence to all local compliance & regulatory laws & policies.
  • Support quality documentation activities in QualityDocs, including but not limited to Deviations, Change Controls, Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), & other quality records as required.
  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to resolve shipment issues & ensure timely delivery to clinical sites.
  • Communicate proactively with cross-functional partners including Quality, Engineering, & Distribution Support Services.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives & escalate operational issues to K401 leadership as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with IT & cross-functional partners on automation, artificial intelligence, & continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing warehouse operations, efficiency, & data management capabilities.
  • Gather, track, & report operational KPIs & metrics including but not limited to shipment accuracy, cycle times, inventory levels, & on-time delivery performance to support data-driven decision making & team performance objectives.

Requirements
Education Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Business, Supply Chain, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field required.

Experience Requirements
  • Skills & technical knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution, logistics, warehouse operations, Import/Export, & pharmaceutical temperature-controlled supply chain.
  • Minimum 5 years of previous GMP environment experience.
  • Strong organizing & multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal & networking skills.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work, lead, & train effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage & improve processes.
  • Positive attitude & professional demeanor.

Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, Inventory Management Applications, Transportation Systems, & Warehouse Management Systems.
