The Director, Delivery Operations Solutions is responsible for integrating demand management, order fulfillment, customer delivery solutions, and distribution operations. This role provides end-to-end accountability for vaccine fulfillment readiness, customer-centric delivery innovation, and operational excellence supporting a multi-billion-dollar vaccine portfolio. The position acts as the primary liaison across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Distribution, VaxServe, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and external immunization partners to ensure seamless delivery from demand planning through customer receipt.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead Sanofi Operations activities to create partnerships with targeted organizations, groups, institutions, etc. to create or enhance inventory management solutions. 

  • Lead Operations team’s planning, preparation, and implementation activities to ensure alignment with Commercial Operations Objectives, including pre-respiratory season planning, testing and order optimization. 

  • Partner with targeted immunization partners / customers (HS, PBGs) to identify, design, and implement unique / novel vaccine operations processes to help build differentiated value offerings.  

  • Coordinate Customer delivery projects to be defined in customer journey’s, which may include Inventory management, returns processing, and supply chain management tool integration with HS (ex: GHX) 

  • Coordinate Operations activities across distribution partners to ensure excellent service experiences, including but not limited to delivery forecasts, customer needs, and resource utilization. 

  • Implement key aspects of the Business Operations Plan - including the ordering process, customer/product allocations, and shipping processes across Sanofi and VaxServe.

  • Conduct market research to identify short and long-term opportunities that create competitive advantages and differentiate the company from its competition.

  • Lead the development and implementation of order fulfillment solutions that create measurable brand differentiation and value.

  • Serve as a key information resource for all of Sanofi's functional areas regarding the order fulfillment process.

  • Champion cross-functional communication: Encourage communication among functional areas to discuss market trends, process acceptance, and the overall perception of Sanofi's order fulfillment process and tools.

  • Identify key performance service and demand metrics and develop and maintain delivery scorecard that help ensure maximum operational efficiencies (forecasts, buffers) 

  • Act as liaison to VaxServe and Distribution Teams 

  • Act as liaison to Sales Teams; drive organizational awareness of Operation’s activities while instilling increased confidence in Sanofi capabilities. 

About You

You are a customer-focused operations leader who thrives in a highly matrixed environment. You possess strong business acumen, operational expertise, and the ability to influence across multiple functions. You have extensive experience navigating complex supply chain, fulfillment, and customer delivery challenges while building partnerships that improve business outcomes and customer experiences.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS / BA, or other advanced degree.

  • 10+ years of Progressively responsible experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, demand planning, business operations, or commercial operations.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong analytical and project management capabilities.

  • Experience with order fulfillment, product allocation, inventory management, and distribution processes.

  • Working knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

  • SAP proficiency.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience working with distributors, third-party logistics providers, and customer delivery solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience within vaccines, pharmaceuticals, biologics, healthcare, or related industries.
