Job description

Location: OCS Inc, (Unclaimed Baggage): Operations
Position: Pricing Distribution
Pay Grade 3
Basic Function: Prepare product for Pricers by sorting or cleaning product and loading tables. Assist Pricers in tagging priced product and distributing to the appropriate Sales channel.
General Responsibilities:
  • Apparel Distribution
  • Tag, inspect, and check all garments processed by size and price.
  • Put security tags on items.
  • After tagging, separate and hang all clothing on correct racks for sales floor, backstock, Jennifer Racks, or high value.
  • Communicate respectfully with Apparel Pricers on any mistakes found on racks.
  • Maintain knowledge of current vendor load.
  • Non-Apparel Distribution
  • Can include, but is not limited to, the following categories from both Baggage and Cargo Loads: Books, Etc Product, Electronics, Shoes, Accessories
  • As needed, assist Pricer on loading table.
  • Clean or sort product while loading the table.
  • Tag, inspect, and check all product processed by price.
  • Put security tags on items priced $20.00 and up.
  • After tagging, separate all product and distribute to proper bins for the Sales floor, to High Value, or to other Sales Channels.
  • Assist Pricer in Backstocking items as needed.
  • Communicate respectfully with all Pricers on any mistakes found.
  • Maintain knowledge of current vendor load.
  • Sit-Down Work
  • Sort sellable DVDs from non-sellable DVDs, clean as needed, then distribute to proper channel.
  • Sort sellable electronic cords and earbuds from non-sellable, wrap with bands, then distribute to proper channel.
  • Remove photos from photo albums, discard photos, then send albums to Pricing.
  • Clean and process eyewear and sunglasses for Pricing.
  • Help clean and sort items from Baggage Openers as needed
  • Quality Control- Be able to determine what needs to be priced or sent to other avenues
  • Keep work area clean and organized using LEAN and 5S standards
  • Other duties assigned by management
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift light to moderately weighted items
  • Repetitive hand/wrist motion required
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Scheduled Hours:
  • 40 hour week, 6:00am – 2:30pm Mon-Fri with mandatory overtime as needed
  • Mandatory Days include: Fridays preceding Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Winter Event; Saturday before Thanksgiving; business day before Fourth of July.
  • Will be required to work one holiday a year on the Retail Sales Floor
Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to Pricing Supervisor
