Position Title: Distribution Specialist Reports To: Production Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Revision Date: 7/11/2025Job SummaryThe Distribution Specialist is responsible for ensuring full chain-of-custody compliance for all medical and recreational cannabis manifests, adhering to the State of Connecticut's Marijuana Program regulations. This role involves managing paper and electronic records, performing inventory counts, and ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of product orders from the Vault.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate in full compliance with vault standard operating procedures (SOPs).Utilize internal inventory system (Flourish) to conduct inventory counts and process order manifests.Navigate and operate the State's seed-to-sale system (Bio Track) effectively.Receive and intake products from the packaging floor, verifying all quantities.Organize and stock product boxes in accordance with internal vault guidelines.Handle products with care to avoid damage prior to shipment.Accurately fill, create, and manifest orders with attention to detail and urgency.Assist with staging and preparing outbound shipments.Follow and uphold all safety policies and procedures.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 1 year of experience in packaging, order fulfillment, or a similar field.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.Prior experience in a warehouse environment with order picking and packing preferred.Physical DemandsThe physical requirements listed below are representative of those necessary to perform the essential functions of the role.
