Position Summary

Epic Personnel Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounting Project Supervisor to support accounting projects and operational initiatives within a distribution environment.

This position will partner with the Senior Accounting Manager, local teams, distribution center leadership, and outside vendors to plan and complete projects. The ideal candidate has strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills and can manage multiple priorities using independent judgment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Accounting, local, and distribution center teams to understand the scope and requirements of current and upcoming projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure equipment and project requirements are completed according to plan.
  • Manage special requests and projects supporting Accounting and other administrative departments.
  • Assist with distribution center audits to ensure compliance with company standards and processes.
  • Update project budgets and track equipment deliveries.
  • Communicate with responsible parties regarding project needs, deadlines, and outstanding items.
  • Accurately complete tasks using company software and help develop or update procedures.
  • Travel to multiple distribution centers as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • One to two years of relevant accounting, project coordination, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of warehouse or manufacturing processes.
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using SAP accounting software.
  • Experience using an MRP manufacturing system.
  • Previous experience supporting projects in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment.

Physical and Work Requirements

  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and climb stairs.
  • Ability to work in a distribution center with varying temperatures.
  • Ability to travel to multiple distribution centers as needed.
