Job description

The Distribution Center (DC) Team Lead is responsible for directing merchandise processing tasks to DC Floor Associates. The candidate will coordinate with the DC Floor Supervisor for staging, tagging, and splitting inventory by store, driving the accuracy and efficiency of the DC Team Associates. Flexible schedule is required in order to support the needs of the business, which includes weeknights and Saturdays as needed..
Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper training of new team members without set time and motivate assigned team members
  • Delegate assignments and ensure floor associates are working effectively and efficiently
  • Provide guidance, feedback, coaching, or training as needed
  • Inspect product for damages, loss, or defects and notify DC Supervisor of findings
  • Coordinate processing discrepancy resolution with appropriate departments
  • Adhere to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures
  • Ensure product is stored accurately and safely
  • Maintain a clean work area, free of safety hazards
  • Operate dolly and cart to move product and boxes
  • Stage product to workspaces in order to keep teams flowing and productive
  • Must learn and be able to use basic computer skills
  • Flexible availability; occasional weeknights until 8PM, Saturdays
