As one of the leading manufacturers and distributors in the garage door industry, we're looking for a dependable, customer-focused Distribution Center Associate to join our Chatsworth team.

What You'll Do
As a Distribution Center Associate, you'll play a critical role in keeping our operation running smoothly by supporting both warehouse and customer-facing activities.
Warehouse & Distribution
  • Receive, stage, and prepare garage doors, hardware, and materials for shipment
  • Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy
  • Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and inventory audits
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse
  • Support continuous improvements in warehouse operations
Customer Service & Order Processing
  • Enter and process customer orders accurately
  • Process warranty claims from start to finish
  • Generate invoices and maintain accurate order documentation
  • Assist customers by phone, email, and in person
  • Verify order accuracy before pickup or delivery
  • Communicate order status and resolve customer concerns
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Care to provide outstanding service
Administrative Support
  • Maintain accurate records for orders, shipments, and inventory
  • Support operational reporting and performance metrics
  • Assist with front office and visitor coordination
  • Provide cross-functional support throughout the distribution center
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or similar environment
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience with inventory, ERP, or order processing software
  • Manufacturing or distribution customer service experience
