Job description

Seeking a strong Maintenance Manager/Leader for a Distribution Center in the Chambersburg PA area.
Essential Functions of the job:
--Ensure all preventive maintenance in a new DC is assigned, done and documented in the CMMS.
--Assign work orders to mechanics each day
--Work of any emergency downtime-related issues. Work to keep downtime as low as possible.
--Ensure facilities are safe. Play a major role to ensure the safety of associates.
--Assist with any capital improvement projects for the facility-mainly set up of the facility
--Be hands-on and assist with any breakdowns and PM's as needed
--Help manage any outside vendors and ensure they meet contractor safety guidelines
--Be part of the management team for the facility
Desired Skills and Education:
--Prefer a degree in something technical, but appropriate work experience with suffice
--Need someone with at least 7-10 years in maintenance roles with at least 3-4 in a leadership role
--Must have experience with usage of a CMMS system and assigning of work orders to mechanics
--Must have great maintenance skills-prefer individuals from manufacturing or warehousing/DC environments
--Good hydraulic, pneumatic, some electrical and electronic (ladder-logic) skills
--Must be a great communicator and willing to do what it takes to get things done
--Don't want a job hopper-company will only consider those that are not job hoppers
