Job description

The Distribution Technician 3 performs routine and technical duties necessary for the continuum of supply and instrument distribution hospital wide. These duties may include stocking, inventory, and dispensing of supplies and equipment for clinical areas, aiding in the organization, coordination, and direction of work for the Distribution staff, serves as a resource person, requires a working knowledge of handling of sterile supplies, while utilizing the Materials Management Information System and Automated Supply Distribution System at TGH. May make departmental decisions in the absence of a Supervisor. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital. 

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Four (4) years experience in supply acquisition and inventory control in a medical setting.
