Distribution Associate II / Standup Forklift (2nd Shift)
Hiring a Distribution Associate to assist with warehouse distribution. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse, forklift, shipping / receiving experience. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets. They use this staffing model to convert workers to full time employees. This is a great way to get hired fast!
LOCATION: Orlando, FL 32808
POSITION: Contract
PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
HOURS: 12:30pm to 9:00pm
DUTIES:

  • Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift.
  • Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
  • Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
  • Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
  • Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
  • Completes written and computerized documentation.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Standup Forklift - preferred
  • Picking, Packing, Shipping & Receiving
  • RF Scanner
  • Steel Toe Boots
  • Drug Test
  • Background Check


ABILITIES:

  • Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
  • Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
