Job description

The Distribution Associate will unload/load trucks and report any inaccuracies or damages. This associate will check product against packing lists, place product into locations accurately, pull, audit and confirm sales orders, and maintain a safe and productive work environment.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Operate cherry pickers, reach trucks and dock stockers
  • Unload products from trucks and place in chronological order
  • Audit products and report any inaccuracies or damages to supervisor
  • Re-label products accurately
  • Place products into specific locations using radio frequency scanner
  • Pull, audit and process sales orders
  • Monitor urgent orders to ensure immediate attention
  • Confirm orders and complete bills of lading
  • Process orders using FedEx system
  • Stack orders on pallets
  • Communicate with truck lines regarding orders
  • Position orders on the FedEx and LTL trucks
  • Generate closing reports
  • Contribute to team productivity goals
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment


Qualifications Include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Cherry picker, reach truck and stand-up forklift experience
  • Forklift certification
  • Reading, math, computer and telephone communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry at least 70 lbs.
  • Experience with radio frequency scanners preferred
