Escrow Assistant

First American is looking to add an Escrow Assistant to our growing commercial real estate team. In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our Escrow team in a variety of ways including customer support and administrative duties. This position plays a key role in transforming commercial real estate experience by empowering our employees and customers to deliver next-generation solutions and results.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in the escrow process for simple and complex commercial transactions such as preparing documents for closing, inputting closing statement information, and handling disbursement and follow-up
  • Provide front desk coverage and administrative support, including managing voicemail inquiries, receiving and distributing mail/packages, and assisting with in-office customer check pickups
  • Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process; adapts communication style as needed

  • Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings
  • Work with innovative technologies to enable escrow transactions and communicates with customers to provide a phenomenal customer experience

Pay Range: $18.46 - $24.63 HourlyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
