Job description

Gen-Systems is seeking a Senior to support customer development and sales execution for battery energy storage system solutions. This role is designed for a motivated sales professional in a strong upward phase of their career who can build customer relationships, support pipeline growth, and coordinate commercial activity across the sales cycle. The role offers strong exposure to a growing segment of the energy market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned accounts and support sales growth for BESS products and related solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, integrators, developers, EPCs, and channel partners.
  • Identify new opportunities within assigned accounts and support broader business development efforts.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow-up communication in coordination with internal teams.
  • Support opportunities from lead development through order placement and post-award follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and forecast inputs.
  • Coordinate with technical and operations teams to support customer requirements.
  • Assist with pricing discussions, commercial coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor customer needs and market activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and trade events as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or related field.
  • 3+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience in energy storage, power systems, renewables, or industrial markets.
  • Strong communication, customer management, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across commercial and technical teams.
  • Strong organization and proactive sales mindset.
  • Interest in developing a career in advanced energy solutions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
