Job description

Are you a detail-oriented and dependable team player with a passion for customer service? We invite you to join our KAAPA team as an Operator at our Aurora location.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and promptly complete all logbooks and other daily record keeping tasks
  • Complete required tests and record information for the dryer, distillation, evaporation, boiler chemistry, dehydration, cook, fermentation, and yeast
  • Extract samples lab for analysis
  • Check enzyme pumps
  • Visually inspect and clean fermenters
  • Watch grain bins being filled and emptied
  • Ensure all areas of the plant are orderly and clean
  • Assist in loading trucks and railcars
Working Hours:
  • Rotating 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of grain handling systems
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to others and work well as a team
  • Basic computer experience
