Job description

A well established Law Firm is seeking a mid-level associate with 5-6 years of business litigation experience to join the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group in our San Francisco office. Qualified candidates will have substantial experience with complex business litigation in state and federal courts, including conducting and managing written and document discovery, researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings, conducting/defending depositions, preparing witnesses for testimony, appearing for status conferences, and arguing motions in both state and federal court. Participation in settlement conferences and negotiations and experience with trial preparation is preferred. The ideal candidate will have sophisticated document drafting skill, the ability to lead cases and supervise more junior attorneys, and must be comfortable with direct interaction with partners, clients, and opposing counsel.
We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated lawyer, who has demonstrated an ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice in a busy, collegial environment, to assist with advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Litigation Department. AmLaw 100 experience preferred. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a positive attitude and an exceptional work ethic, are required.
