The Vice President, Investments (Dispositions) at Link Logistics is responsible for evaluating, preparing, and executing disposition opportunities across Blackstone's US Industrial Portfolio. This role serves as a primary point of contact for East region dispositions while representing Link to the brokerage community and broader marketplace by showing a high degree of professionalism. The VP keeps a pulse on transaction and leasing activity, other market participants, and macro shifts within the region. The VP works closely with brokers, third-party consultants, and junior staff to underwrite and prepare materials for potential dispositions. The role also evaluates the disposition pipeline and manages deal flow.

In coordination with in-house and outside counsel, the VP negotiates LOIs, access agreements, and purchase and sale agreements (PSAs). The VP partners closely with the operations team during due diligence through deal closing, serving as the primary deal lead. Additionally, the VP collaborates with team members in other markets, regions, and business units, and is responsible for overseeing, mentoring, and developing junior staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute disposition opportunities from portfolio composition through closing

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the region's dispositions.

  • Represent Link to the brokerage community and broader marketplace by showing a high degree of professionalism.

  • Keep a pulse on transaction and leasing activity, other market participants, and macro shifts within the region.

  • Work closely with the brokerage community, third-party consultants, and junior staff to underwrite and prepare materials for potential dispositions.

  • In coordination with in-house and outside counsel, negotiate LOIs, access agreements, and purchase and sale agreements.

  • Work closely with the operations team during due diligence through deal closing, serving as the primary deal lead.

  • Work collaboratively with team members in other markets/regions and business units.

  • Oversee, mentor, and develop junior staff.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience in investments or related fields.

  • BA or BS in Finance, Real Estate Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related disciplines preferred. Other majors will be considered.

  • Strong academic record.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Argus (AE).

  • Strong understanding of financial concepts used to evaluate investments and build models, such as simple cash flow analyses, time value of money, return on investment, etc.

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical ability.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Self-motivation, determination, and initiative in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated high attention to detail.

  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Demonstrated experience leading real estate transactions, including sourcing, negotiations, and execution of asset dispositions.

  • Experience managing full deal lifecycle, including underwriting, marketing, due diligence, and closing processes.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional deal teams, including legal, asset management, and operations partners.

$180,000 - $200,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
