Job description

Position Title: Graphic Designer
Duration: 12-month base period with three 12-month option periods
Work Location: Primarily Remote
USCIS Site: 5900 Capital Gateway Drive, Camp Springs, MD 20588
KeenLogic is seeking a creative and experienced Graphic Designer to support the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Verification Division (VER). This position will design and produce engaging digital and print visual communications that support USCIS outreach campaigns, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and program objectives. The Graphic Designer will transform communications concepts and content into professional visual products for websites, social media, email campaigns, publications, events, exhibits, and other outreach channels.
This is a primarily remote position supporting USCIS Headquarters, 5900 Capital Gateway Drive, Camp Springs, MD 20588. Contractor personnel may work remotely; however, the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) may request in-person meetings or engagements as needed.
This is a full-time position offering Fortune 500-level health/dental/vision, PTO, paid federal holidays, 401(k), and Life Insurance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for government clearances.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience designing and producing posters, exhibits, publications, photos, illustrations, icons and logos, brochures, reports, and other outreach materials.
  • BA/BS in Art, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Media or Studio Arts, or related field.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud software programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and produce digital and print communications and outreach materials.
  • Create graphics, icons, hero images, illustrations, infographics, and other visual assets.
  • Design email promotional campaign banners and supporting digital assets.
  • Produce fact sheets, brochures, flyers, reports, templates, posters, and publications.
  • Design booths, displays, banners, exhibits, and materials supporting engagement events.
  • Prepare high-resolution digital files and production-ready materials.
  • Develop products in industry-standard file formats, including AI, PSD, PNG, and JPEG.
  • Ensure visual products align with applicable USCIS style, branding, accessibility, and design requirements.
  • Collaborate with writers, digital communications specialists, outreach personnel, and multimedia staff.
