Job description

Summary:
Security responsibilities include access control of all visitors, monitoring of security related CCTV, alarm monitoring/response, incident response/coordination with Security Operations Center, and security related reporting. Requires strong computer skills. Also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform access control related duties, to include guest management.
  • Greet guests and perform customer service-related activities.
  • Issue access badges, including temporary, vendor and guest badges
  • Monitor activities within the Reception Area through CCTV/Alarm monitoring.
  • Assist facilities team members as needed

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must possess current Nevada Guard Card
  • Must possess a CPR/First-Aid Certification
  • Must possess a Valid Nevada Driver's License or State Identification
  • Requires proof of Education, High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and various computer programs
  • Successful completion of a background review and drug screening
  • Respond and react quickly to emergency calls and render assistance as needed and notify proper company staff or outside agencies as required
  • Take reports and investigate incidents occurring on company property, coordinating with company and county authorities, and local police
  • Monitor alarm systems and electronic surveillance equipment
  • Immediately report potentially hazardous conditions and items in need of repair, including inoperative lights, malfunctioning equipment, spills, leaky faucets, malfunctioning or leaking drinking fountains, toilet stoppages, broken or slippery floor surfaces, loose or tom carpeting, worn or damaged non-skid tape on stairways throughout company property and damaged vitrines.
  • Dispatch personnel must have at least one (1) calendar year of full-time experience as a Dispatcher
  • The Dispatcher must also possess proficient experience in report taking, dispatch software knowledge and radio operations
  • Type 35 words per minute certified by a type test
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficient in the operation of computers, keyboard, multi monitor set-ups and various Dispatching software and equipment
  • Possess organizational and record keeping skills
  • Ability to provide good customer service
