We are a leading home services provider and due to our continued growth we are looking for responsible and reliable individuals to serve as Delivery Dispatchers.
As a Delivery Dispatcher, you will be the person our customers rely on to get assistance when they need it! You will prepare records and distribute delivery tickets to Delivery Drivers in response to customer requests using our scheduling and mapping technology. Responsibilities:
As a Delivery Dispatcher, you will use your communication and active listening skills to devise the most efficient solutions.
Specific duties include:
  • Scheduling deliveries and providing instructions for Drivers according to urgency
  • Reviewing routes, monitoring and adjusting deliveries
  • Ensuring deliveries are dispatched & completed
  • Documenting all customer accounts encountered
  • Communicating with other Dispatchers, Drivers, Service Technicians, Managers, and other departments

Requirements:
As a Delivery Dispatcher, you must be pleasant, professional and possess the ability to function equally well both independently and in a team environment. You must be highly detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and active listening skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with both customer and coworkers.
Specific qualifications include:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 -2 years prior dispatch experience preferred
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Prior experience in a customer service setting a plus
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, MS Outlook and Web navigation
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
