Position Summary
Henry's Wrecker Service is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our operations team. Dispatchers play a critical role in coordinating tow truck operators and equipment, ensuring customers receive timely service, and keeping operations running efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires excellent communication skills, sound decision-making, strong multitasking abilities, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple active calls and resources.
Responsibilities
Tuesday - Friday any every other Saturday
9AM - 7PM
Schedules may be adjusted based on operational needs.

Responsibilities
- Dispatch operators and equipment for emergency and non-emergency service calls.
- Monitor the status and availability of drivers and equipment throughout the shift.
- Prioritize incoming service requests and assign resources efficiently.
- Communicate accurate ETAs and service updates to customers.
- Coordinate with drivers, call takers, managers, and other dispatch centers to maximize resource utilization.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update dispatch software throughout each call.
- Ensure all required call information is complete before closing service tickets.
- Communicate equipment, staffing, or operational issues to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service while handling high call volumes.
- Ensure smooth shift turnovers by communicating outstanding calls and important updates.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Dispatch, call center, logistics, or towing industry experience preferred.
- Experience with dispatch software, GPS mapping, or fleet management systems is a plus.
