Description
We are growing and looking to hire dispatchers for our 2nd shift and 3rd shift positions. The Dispatcher supports the Operations team, works closely with both Planning and Order Entry departments in efficiently tracking trips and deliveries with utmost accuracy. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas, but not limited to: route planning, customer service, trouble shooting, and heavy phone use.
Education/Experience
Requirements
1. Minimum of 1-year dispatching
2. In-depth knowledge of dispatch practices and procedures
3. Strong current knowledge of DOT & FMCSA Compliance (Hours of Service)
4. Knowledge of route and tracking software
5. Excellent verbal/written competencies and overall communication effectiveness
6. Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, data entry, etc.
7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and work within a team structure
8. Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred
Salary Description
$20-22 per hour
