Job Description

As a Security Dispatch Officer in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional in a transportation location, you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm activity. You will maintain clear records, communicate with team members and site personnel, and help provide a welcoming, secure environment. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, passengers, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications, receiving calls for service and relaying relevant information to security-related personnel and site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activities and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and records of communications, personnel assignments, and response activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned airport operations areas and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or potential concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
