Dispatch & Billing Coordinator

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and great with people? Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly?

Mr. Handyman of South Essex County is growing, and we’re looking for a Dispatch & Billing Coordinator to help keep our daily operations running smoothly.

This position is the hub between our customers, Service Professionals, and office team. You’ll coordinate daily schedules, monitor jobs, handle billing, and communicate with customers to make sure every job stays on track.

This is a busy, fast-paced position where priorities can change quickly. We’re looking for someone who enjoys staying busy, can shift gears and reprioritize on the fly, and maintains accuracy and professionalism when the pace picks up.

What You’ll Do

  • Dispatch & Scheduling: Coordinate and monitor daily schedules for our Service Professionals, adjust schedules as needed, and keep jobs moving efficiently.
  • Customer Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing calls and communicate with customers throughout the scheduling and service process.
  • Job Coordination: Stay in communication with Service Professionals to monitor job progress, timing, and completion.
  • Billing: Review completed work, verify job details, prepare and process invoices, and handle customer payments.
  • Problem Solving: Address scheduling changes, customer concerns, and unexpected issues quickly and professionally.
  • Customer Experience: Provide the friendly, dependable service our customers have come to expect from Mr. Handyman.

Job Requirements

  • Full-time, in-office position in Peabody, MA
  • Monday: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
  • Tuesday–Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Reliable transportation to our Peabody office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Excel

Preferred, but not required: Experience with scheduling, dispatching, billing, ServiceTitan, or similar software.
