Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking a Service Dispatcher. As a Service Dispatcher, you will be responsible for maintaining an efficient workflow in the shop. You will dispatch work to the appropriate technicians based on skill level while ensuring promise times are met. You must master time management, multitasking, and adjusting jobs on the fly.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign repair orders to technician team leaders based on availability
  • Making sure repair orders are dispatched and completed as efficiently as possible.
  • Log all work assigned to technician team leads
  • Keeping up to date with all Lexus recalls, service bulletins, and related training requirements.
  • Contact necessary channels when any shop equipment needs repairs
  • Making sure all service advisors and service technicians adhere to Lexus policy to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the shop managers and service manager.
  • Keep a consistent, clear line of communication between Advisors, Techs, and management.

Requirements

  • Prior Automotive Dealership experience/knowledge is a must.
  • Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Able to pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug screen
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
