Walker Delivery Associate โ€“ Full Time

We are an Last Mile Logistics Company looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages. Our Delivery Drivers strive to get every order to the customer's door on time. We offer full and part-time and seasonal opportunities.

Job Description

We're looking for reliable and motivated Walker Delivery Associates to join our team! You'll be responsible for delivering packages safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position.

Capital Shipping is looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages with a smile to customers doors. Walker Delivery Associate shifts range between 8-10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week. You can plan on working about 4 days a week. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely load, unload, and deliver packages by walking to customer addresses within a ten-block radius in all weather conditions.
  • Deliver packages (weighing up to 50 lbs) to customers on time and with care.
  • Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws throughout all delivery stages from package pickup, transport, and delivery.
  • Operate an electronic device/mobile phone for GPS and daily records of deliveries using apps.
  • Contact the customers, when necessary, in order to deliver their packages in a safe location and follow their direction.
  • Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the day.

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Previous delivery experience is a plus but not required; training is provided!
