The Plant Associate will perform assembly and processes for parts used in missiles and high-tech products. Applicants must have eye-hand coordination to perform the work, be able to follow written instructions and procedures, demonstrate attention to detail and safety, and be able to provide key products to support our war fighters.
This position is located at the Raytheon Dine Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX Dine Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.
What You Will Do
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing environment such as assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, encapsulation, soldering, repair and/or inspection of wire harness, electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Check own work with available fixtures and production aids to ensure workmanship quality.
  • May route, dispatch and expedite flow of material.
  • Follow written instruction, procedure, and product specification to complete assigned task.
  • Understands and performs all job duties in accordance with the appropriate operating procedures/instructions related to all environmental/safety requirements and regulations governing the work area within an individual's classification.
  • Physically able to perform duties of lifting more than 25-lbs., work overtime, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, sitting, or standing for long periods of time and excessive walking.
  • Ability to communicate, interact, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
  • Experience with either manufacturing or assembly.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
