Job description

General Overview
Do you enjoy solving puzzles, talking with people, and making things happen? Do you love the satisfaction of finding the right truck at the right time? If so, we might have the perfect job for you.

We're looking for a Logistics Coordinator to help keep our customers happy by making sure our products get where they need to go—on time and without the drama. You'll work closely with our sales team, customers, and trucking partners to coordinate shipments, solve problems, and keep freight moving.

No two days are exactly alike, and that's exactly how we like it.


Primary Responsibilities

  1. Schedule and book trucks for customer shipments.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with carriers and freight brokers.
  3. Coordinate daily with the sales team to ensure customer orders are delivered on schedule.
  4. Obtain freight quotes and negotiate competitive transportation rates.
  5. Track shipments and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal teams.
  6. Resolve transportation delays, scheduling conflicts, and delivery issues.
  7. Maintain accurate shipping records and transportation documentation.
  8. Verify freight invoices and assist with transportation cost tracking.
  9. Help identify opportunities to improve freight efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.


Qualifications

  1. Associate’s Degree or higher.
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

  4. Must be able to work Monday-Thursday from 8 AM - 5 PM and Friday 8 AM – 1 PM.
  5. Must have consistent and reliable transportation to and from work for all scheduled shifts.
  6. Must follow all applicable Company policies, procedures, and directives including, without limitation, those related to safety.
