Job Summary: What You’ll Do

Work with a larger Operational Technology Cybersecurity team at theDisneyland Resort to:

  • Advocate for and uphold design standards during multidiscipline projects
  • Develop and manage scope and schedule for the team’s various projects throughout the resort
  • Partner with system engineering groups to hit project goals and deadlines on budget
  • Clearly communicate technical requirements to technical, and nontechnical audiences
  • Contribute to network design architecture standards
  • Interpret, create , redline, and review technical drawings
  • I ntroduce scalable processes across Cybersecurity capabilities
  • Partner with system engineering groups to maintain reliability and availability of our attractions
  • Take on secondary and tertiary responsibilities as required
Required Qualifications & Skills :
  • Minimum of 5 years of related working experience in network security
  • Experience working on technical projects
  • Flexible and adaptable to new challenges
  • Ability to work individually with minimal supervision and as an integral part of a team
  • K nowledge of network and system security procedures, best practices, and the implementation and analysis of network documentation and diagrams
  • Able to work non-traditional hours (occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays), in non-traditional settings . This can include backstage areas that could involve dark spaces, elevated walkways, and industrial environments
Preferred Qualifications & Skills :

Prior experience in:

  • E ntertainment venue s or attractions/theme park industry
  • Industrial automation/manufacturing controls
  • Leading technical projects involving multiple disciplines /teams
Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related engineering field
Preferred Education:
  • One or more general security certifications including Security+, CySA+, CCNA Cyber Ops, AWS, GSEC, GICSP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.

Would you like to be part of the team that is tasked with the Operational Technology Cybersecurity of our Ride and Show control systems at The Walt Disney Company? The AOT Cybersecurity Engineer takes a strategic approach to protect ing our control networks in attractions, live shows, and transportation venues. The primary respon s ibility of this position will be to align Cybersecurity network security solutions with Disneyland’s existing and incoming attraction systems. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where professionalism, precision and integrity are valued and where no two days are the same.

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $117,500 to $157,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
