We are Storytellers and Innovators. Creators and Builders. Entertainers and Engineers. We work with every part of The Walt Disney Companyโ€™s media portfolio to advance the technological foundation and consumer media touch points serving millions of people around the world.

Here are a few reasons why we think youโ€™d love working here:Building the future of Disneyโ€™s media:

Our Technologists are designing and building the products and platforms that will power our media, advertising, and distribution businesses for years to come.

Reach, Scale & Impact:

More than ever, Disneyโ€™s technology and products serve as a signature doorway for fans' connections with the companyโ€™s brands and stories. Disney+. Hulu. ESPN. ABC. ABC Newsโ€ฆand many more. These products and brands โ€“ and the unmatched stories, storytellers, and events they carry โ€“ matter to millions of people globally.

Innovation:

We develop and implement groundbreaking products and techniques that shape industry norms, and solve complex and distinctive technical problems.

Product Management is responsible for driving the overall user experience, feature strategies and concepts, and engagement paradigms for Disney Entertainment & ESPN's global portfolio of consumer-facing streaming and digital products โ€“ including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, ABC, ABC News, Nat Geo, Marvel, and Star Wars.

In this role you'll:

  • Lead the product strategy and multiโ€‘year roadmap for Payments and Fraud across Disney's global streaming businesses (Disney+, Hulu, ESPN) โ€” owning involuntaryโ€‘churn reduction, payment processing, new payment methods, and fraud prevention.
  • Build, lead, and grow a team of product managers spanning retries and recovery, lifecycle and billing messaging, new payment methods, core processing and routing, and fraud/risk.
  • Champion an experimentationโ€‘first, dataโ€‘driven culture โ€” using largeโ€‘scale A/B testing, ML models, and deep analytics to lift authorization rates, recover involuntary churn, and grow conversion and signups.
  • Own measurable business outcomes โ€” involuntary churn (bps), incremental operating income, and incremental signups via new payment methods โ€” in close partnership with finance, data science, engineering, legal, and marketing.
  • Serve as Disney's product authority on payments and fraud to senior leadership and external partners, including processors, card networks, issuers, and alternativeโ€‘payment providers.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
  • Set and own the multiโ€‘year Payments & Fraud product strategy and roadmap, aligned to company OKRs โ€” involuntaryโ€‘churn reduction, incremental operating income, and incremental signups.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers; set goals, allocate capacity, and grow talent and bench strength.
  • Act as a trusted authority in the payments and fraud domain and provide thought leadership across the business and to senior leaders.
  • Drive a rigorous experimentation and measurement culture โ€” prioritize the test pipeline and hold the bar on statistical rigor and fully aged results before booking impact.
  • Partner crossโ€‘functionally with engineering, data science, finance, legal, operations, and marketing to deliver the roadmap and negotiate tradeโ€‘offs across adjacent domains (growth & acquisition, identity, lifecycle messaging, billing).
Basic Qualifications
  • 12+ years of product management experience, including subscription/recurring payments for a major global merchant โ€” ideally in streaming or digital media
  • 3+ years directly managing and developing product managers
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Deep expertise across the payments ecosystem โ€” processing and routing, authorization optimization, retries and recovery, new and local payment methods, and fraud and risk management
  • Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes (churn reduction, revenue, conversion) through largeโ€‘scale experimentation and dataโ€‘driven decisionโ€‘making
  • Strong command of statistics and experimentation (hypothesis testing, regression analysis, largeโ€‘scale A/B testing) and the ability to turn data into a compelling story for senior stakeholders
  • Ability to rigorously prioritize while articulating a product roadmap across business teams and geographies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead crossโ€‘functional teams and negotiate tradeโ€‘offs with a diverse set of partners
  • You communicate exceptionally well โ€” from smallโ€‘group discussions to largeโ€‘scale presentations, and through strong product memos that drive alignment across multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their application to payments, fraud, and involuntaryโ€‘churn recovery
  • Experience expanding global and local payment methods and managing processor, network, and issuer relationships
  • Familiarity with the streaming video industry and the value propositions the market leaders offer their customers
  • Experience building and scaling highโ€‘performing product teams
