What is a Disney performer?

Disney Performers are entertainers employed by Disney theme parks and resorts who bring beloved characters to life through acting, dancing, and interactions with guests. Their roles include portraying costumed characters, participating in parades and stage shows, and creating magical experiences for visitors of all ages. Disney Performers must meet specific casting requirements and undergo training to maintain the high standards of character integrity, safety, and guest service that Disney is known for. Outstanding interpersonal skills, teamwork, and a consistently positive attitude help performers authentically engage guests and create magical experiences. These skills ensure that performers deliver high-quality entertainment, maintain safety, and uphold Disney’s brand standards for guest satisfaction.

What are common challenges Disney performers face during live shows and parades?
