Platform Distribution Strategy is responsible for applying ingenuity and critical thinking skills to advance the Media Networks, Direct‐To‐Consumer, Digital Transactional, and other platforms.

Platform Distribution Strategy is looking for a Sr. Manager, Business Strategy to partner with PD Strategy executive leadership in developing and executing a unified global sales strategy, through partnership with key groups across other business units. The Sr. Manager will play a key role in supporting the international / local teams on ongoing deal evaluations and analysis.

Responsibilities

Provide timely and thoughtful advisory support to international teams on existing business models, potential risks and challenges, and solves. Coordinate with local teams in APAC, LATAM and EMEA to align key issues and goals, and support a streamlined negotiation process. Support any ongoing modeling and analysis needed as part of the deal evaluations. Work with domestic Sales, Legal, Business Affairs and other stakeholders on select Pay‐TV, and global DTC and transactional clients. Manage the team responsible for platform distribution strategy. Ensure the ongoing training and development of direct reports.

Required

Experience 7+ years of directly related experience in strategy, finance, or business development; could be a combination of professional work and applicable education (e.g., MBA or equivalent). Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Understanding of media industry landscape, including competitors and current trends. Experience managing in‐depth analyses and projects from concept to completion. Excellent management, organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and work efficiently in a fast‐paced environment. Strong proven written, verbal, modeling skills (including Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

Work experience in investment banking and/or management consulting. Industry experience in global media, technology and/or with subscription business models. Experience managing (directly and/or indirectly) and growing junior team members. MBA or other relevant advanced degree. The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $149,500 - $205,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job‐related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‐term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
