Mount & Dismount Technician

McGriff Tire Company is looking for a mount and dismount tire technician. In this role you will mount and dismount truck tires, sort casing, retread, RPO, scrap. Label, stack and place tires in the designated area then load on trailer. Keep up with wheels and incoming/outgoing orders. 


Responsibilities:

Dismount tires from wheels

Roll inspect tire grade useable, RPO, scrap stacking by grade

Inspect wheels, valve stems replacing valve stems if needed

Mount tire on good wheel placing in the outgoing order

Orders coming in and out will need to be loaded and unloaded.



Requirements

  • Must be able to walk, stand, stretch, reach, grasp objects occasionally.
  • Must be able to grip and pull objects on a continuous basis.
  • Diligent, punctual, and great attention to details.
  • May be required to operate forklift.
  • Must have excellent organizations skills.
  • Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
  • Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision.
  • Must maintain a clean, efficient work area and assists in keeping the shop neat and organized.
  • Some extended hours and/or work on Saturdays may be required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check including employment history, SSN Verification, criminal history, etc.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.

Experience level:

  • Automotive repair: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift 
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • Must be able to work inside warehouse that is not heated or cooled.
