The Housekeepers are responsible for ensuring that all community areas are kept in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly manner in accordance with established procedures to assure that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained at all times. Provides excellent
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Cleans/polishes furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in residents' rooms, and the community's living/recreational areas, etc., as instructed.
  • Cleans, washes, sanitizes and/or polishes bathroom fixtures and ensures that all water marks are removed from fixtures.
  • Cleans floors, to include: sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting etc., as instructed, and always ensures that CAUTION/SAFETY signs are properly set-up PRIOR to performing such duties.
  • Cleans carpets, to include: vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting, as instructed.
  • Cleans walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing etc., as instructed.
  • Removes dirt, dust, grease, film etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
  • Cleans hallways as necessary or instructed.
  • Disposes of waste/trash into proper containers and re-lines trash receptacles with plastic liners.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in housekeeping in a healthcare setting is a plus
  • Experience in customer service is highly desired
