Dish room Employees (Equipment & Sanitation)

Equipment & Sanitation (E&S) Dish room (Utility) Workers perform a variety of tasks which are essential for the dish room operation.

Job Requirements / Responsibilities

Wash and sort dishes according to specifications, using large industrial dish machines.

Maintain all the equipment which includes cleaning and sanitizing, sort dishes and equipment according to specifications and needs.

Recycle alum cans, plastics and containers from inbound flights; recycle box cartons using cardboard bailer.

Operate the pot-and-pan cleaning area and clean all cookware used by the hot and cold food kitchen.

De-trash inbound beverage and food carts and put them through the cart washing machine.

Sort and handle international and domestic trash using the sterilizer machine.

Lift and carry various catering equipment in the production area.

Must be able to speak, read and write English

Must be able to perform in a high-pace, time-sensitive, work environment

Must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment

Must be able to work in an environment with hot and cold temperatures

Must be able to work around moving parts, wet floors

Must be flexible to work various shift/hours subject to change due to shift bidding

Must be flexible to learn the tasks of various work stations as assigned by supervisor

Environment Requirements

Must be able to carry and lift up to 40 pounds

Must be able to push/pull up to 10 pounds for 500 ft.

Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift (breaks & lunch break provided)
