Inspire Creativity Through Fashion & Photography!

Athletes Global Corporation (AGC) is seeking an enthusiastic and creativeย Fashion & Photography Camp Instructorย to lead an exciting week-long youth camp for theย Town of Fairfield Parks & Recreation.

This hands-on program introduces participants to the exciting worlds of fashion design, styling, and photography. Campers will develop creative skills while learning the fundamentals of fashion, visual storytelling, teamwork, and photography. Throughout the week, students will collaborate on projects that culminate in their very ownย Fashion Runway Show, where they'll showcase and model their creative designs.

What You'll DoPhotography

  • Teach campers how to take better photos using cameras or smartphones.
  • Introduce basic photography techniques, composition, lighting, and creative storytelling.
  • Lead hands-on photography activities and projects.
  • Encourage creativity while helping students build confidence behind the camera.

Fashion

  • Introduce students to High Fashion, Street Fashion, and Editorial Fashion.
  • Teach fashion design concepts, styling techniques, and current industry trends.
  • Share the history and fundamentals of fashion and photography.
  • Guide campers through creative design projects using teamwork and collaboration.

Camp Leadership

  • Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Supervise campers throughout all activities.
  • Encourage creativity, teamwork, communication, and self-expression.
  • Prepare lesson materials and maintain an organized classroom environment.
  • Communicate professionally with Parks & Recreation staff and parents as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimumย 1 year of teaching or instructional experienceย (required).
  • Minimumย 3 years of fashion experienceย (required).
  • Minimumย 3 years of photography experienceย (required).
  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to create fun, engaging, and age-appropriate learning experiences.
  • Passion for inspiring creativity and artistic expression.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience leading youth camps or enrichment programs.
  • Background in fashion design, merchandising, photography, visual arts, or related fields.
  • Ability to motivate students while fostering creativity and teamwork.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and actively participate throughout the program.
  • Ability to assist with classroom setup, materials, and hands-on projects.
  • Ability to supervise students in both classroom and activity settings.
