  • Learn and consistently apply comprehensive controlled vocabulary/taxonomy across all assigned content
  • Ensure metadata accuracy, consistency, and quality across titles and franchises
  • Research and validate metadata where needed to support content discovery and user experience
  • Identify ambiguous tagging scenarios and elevate taxonomy or workflow questions appropriately
  • Work within CMS and metadata management systems to input, review, and publish metadata
  • Meet operational deadlines, throughput targets, and delivery schedules
  • Collaborate with editorial, taxonomy, QA, and operations teams to maintain metadata quality standards
Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with metadata tagging, content classification, cataloging, or digital media operations
  • Experience using CMS platforms or metadata management tools
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, narrative structure, genres, and entertainment media
  • Ability to interpret creative intent and identify thematic and contextual elements within content
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established metadata standards and methodologies
  • Comfortable learning and applying large-scale taxonomies and controlled vocabularies
  • Excellent organizational, written communication, and issue escalation skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing deadlines and priorities
  • High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in media studies, library sciences, taxonomy management, film/TV analysis, or entertainment operations
  • Experience supporting streaming, OTT, publishing, or entertainment platforms
  • Familiarity with content discovery systems, recommendation ecosystems, or editorial metadata QA or metadata auditing experience
