Job Type: Full Time

Location: 16201 S. Figueroa St., Gardena, CA 90248

Pay: $23 per hour + $200 monthly auto allowance

Housing benefit:  Discounted 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment available for $700/month 


Beach Front Property Management is seeking a Full-Time On-Site Maintenance Technician to support a residential community in Gardena, CA. This role includes a rent discount, giving you the opportunity to live on-site in a 1-bedroom 1- bathroom unit, making this a strong value position for someone looking to combine work and housing.


Your primary assigned property will be Gardena Royale Apartments located at 16201 S. Figueroa St., Gardena, CA 90248. However, due to business needs, you may also be assigned to provide maintenance support and services at other Beach Front Property Management communities, including but not limited to:

  • 601 N. East End Ave., Pomona, CA 91767
  • Grand View Tower Apartments, 433 & 437 S. Grand View St., Los Angeles, CA 90057
  • Ross Towers, 1602 N. Ross St., Santa Ana, CA 92706

Travel between assigned properties may be required during the course of your employment. To support these travel requirements, you will receive a monthly auto allowance of $200.00 in accordance with company policy.


What you'll do

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with residents, vendors, and team members
  • Ensure community cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall property standards
  • Complete daily work orders and assist with unit turns
  • Perform general maintenance, including: 
    • Plumbing
    • Electrical
    • Painting
    • Appliance repair
    • Basic HVAC
  • Clean and maintain common areas, amenities, and grounds
  • Identify and report maintenance issues proactively
  • Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents
  • Support the Community Manager and team with maintenance-related needs

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related experience 
  • Experience in: Electrical, Plumbing, Plumbing, Carpentry/woodwork, Tile work & Water line installation 
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency 
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.+  
  • Must have: Basic hand tools 
  • Valid driver's license
