• Conduct empathetic and effective individual, couple, and family therapy sessions tailored to address the specific emotional and relational challenges that clients encounter during their recovery journeys.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to gather vital information on clients' emotional struggles, relational dynamics, and recovery aspirations, developing personalized treatment plans that align with both mental health and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize established therapeutic modalities, including family systems theory and solution-focused techniques, to promote effective communication and conflict resolution among clients and their families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical doctors, to ensure a coordinated approach to client care, aligning therapeutic interventions with clients’ broader rehabilitation objectives.
• Respond swiftly to clients in crisis, providing support during challenging moments in their recovery process, and ensuring continuity of care through follow-up and adjustment of treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential client records and progress notes, documenting treatment plans and client interactions in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Offer educational workshops for clients and their families, focusing on emotional well-being, coping strategies, and methods for reinforcing familial relationships throughout rehabilitation.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, remaining current on the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy, with particular attention to rehabilitation-related approaches.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Illinois.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to clients from diverse backgrounds and situations.

• Annual salary between $80,000 and $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
