Job description

Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking an Associate, Mission Support (Logistics) to join our Programs x Domestic Operations - Mission Support (MSB) team!The Associate, Mission Support (Logistics) will collaboratively and cooperatively work within their team and cross-functional teams. This will require working with competing priorities and keeping multiple stakeholders appraising decisions. The Associate, Mission Support (Logistics) will provide functional support to Team Rubicon's Logistics supporting day-to-day logistics operations. This role includes coordination of facilities, fleet, trailers, equipment caches, and warehouse supplies while supporting the timely execution of logistics efforts across multiple geographical locations. The Associate, Mission Support (Logistics) works closely with internal teams, volunteers, contractors, and external partners to keep operations organized, efficient, and cost-effective. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, comfort managing competing priorities, and the ability to collaborate across functional and geographic teams. The Associate, Mission Support (Logistics) will help connect branch teams with logistics support functions, promote consistent processes, and contribute to Team Rubicon's ability to respond rapidly and locally to disasters.

This position reports to TR's Manager, Mission Support (Logistics) and is based out of our National Operations Center (NOC) located in Atlanta, GA.
Duties:
  • Support warehouse operations, including procurement, receiving, storage, organization, inventory control, and distribution of mission-critical equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and asset accountability through regular audits, cycle counts, reconciliation efforts, inventory reporting, and trend analysis.
  • Coordinate daily on-site support requirements for the National Operations Center (NOC), including receiving and sending packages, scheduling and monitoring of building maintenance, and general upkeep of the facility.
  • Track the movement, status, and availability of fleet vehicles, trailers, equipment, and supplies to identify replenishment requirements, reduce shortages, and improve resource availability.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair schedules for vehicles, trailers, and operational equipment, ensuring assets remain deployable and compliant.
  • Monitor logistics and maintenance costs, maintain records, and support efficient, compliant resource management to support data-driven resource planning.
  • Coordinate with branch teams, logistics leadership, and cross-functional partners to support aligned execution and clear communication.
  • Assist in developing, documenting, and applying standards, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, resource allocation, and disaster response capabilities.

Education and Background:
  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in the military, disaster response, emergency management or first responder fields
  • Experienced with technology tools and in remote working for communicating and coordinating with a large network of TR staff members, Greyshirts (volunteers), and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, and contribute effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Successful past performance in leading volunteers is highly desired
  • Knowledge or past experience in coordinating international medical logistics or medical supplies inventories and procurement is not required but would be considered an added benefit to this position

Special Requirements:
  • This is a full-time; ONSITE position based out of TR's National Operations Center (NOC) located in Atlanta, GA and provides a flexible & non-traditional work schedule
  • Availability to support evening and weekend meetings, activations, events, and operational periods when required
  • Local Travel: Reliable transportation is required. The person filling this position will be expected to travel within their local area to support ongoing efforts
  • Other Travel: At least 25% non-local travel to support broader organizational logistics and disaster response activities

Job Type:

Pay Range:
  • $48,936.25 - $68,608.08 per year
