ORGANIZATION SUMMARY:
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. The organization was founded in the aftermath of World War II to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn Europe. Since then, for 80 years, across 100 countries, World Relief has partnered with local churches and communities to build a world where families thrive and communities flourish.

Today, organizational programming focuses on humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening and resilience, and refugee & immigrant services and advocacy.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Do you love organization, data, and details?  Are your curious about the inner workings of a non-profit agency?  Do want to use your skills and abilities to impact refugees and immigrants?  World Relief seeks  an Administrative Support Intern to join our team!    This position provides administrative and systems support to World Relief’s Education team. The intern manages data in client case files and databases, ensuring they are current and accurate with all necessary documentation to meet grantor requirements and demonstrate clients’ progress towards goals. The position calls for navigating across systems and platforms and high degrees of technologically savviness, organization, and attention to detail. This position with a flexible schedule is ideal for interns pursuing studies in Administration, Project Management, IT, Social Work, or other related fields. The intern will become familiar with how resettlement agencies and educational programming meets refugee needs, gain a better understanding of data management at non-profits, and gain experience using various data platforms and tracking systems. This is an unpaid internship; however, university credit may be available with prior approval.
While some internships are unpaid, the program is competitive and you are encouraged to approach it in the same way you would a job. Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, resume, application, and to pass a Criminal Background Check. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
