Arthrex is actively seeking a Sr. Business Systems Analyst - Windchill MPMLink to work directly with the IT team and Business partners within Arthrex to help facilitate process improvements through collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other business teams, as well as support the design, configuration, analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance of the organization's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Manufacturing Process Management solutions. Excellent communication and analytical skills, strong technical project management skills, and experience supporting enterprise manufacturing applications will be essential for this position. This position will be based at our South Carolina location.
Main Objective:
Responsible for acting as a liaison between business stakeholders/leads and IT COE/technical and development teams, with a primary focus on PTC Windchill MPMLink and Manufacturing Process Management solutions. This role involves facilitating process improvements, engaging both business and IT to design, configure, analyze, implement, test, and maintain Windchill-based manufacturing applications supporting mBOMs, Process Plans, Work Instructions, Engineering Change Management, and SAP integrations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding Windchill MPMLink needs and enhancements.
  • Obtain an in-depth understanding of Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality, and Operations business processes to recommend solutions and construct high-quality requirements.
  • Guide business requirements by providing recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions.
  • Participate in Application Configuration, Analysis, Management, and Maintenance in an Enterprise environment
  • Access administration and user onboarding.
  • Issue resolution, patching, and performance monitoring.
  • Reliability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Monitoring system logs and application performance and providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Provide application specifications and requirements for infrastructure and integration projects, as well as operational and capacity planning information.
  • Facilitate user training activities and business adoption initiatives.
  • Adhere to Quality System Procedures and Change Control requirements.
  • Support the implementation of Windchill MPMLink, including business process definition, requirements gathering, data migration activities, system integration validation, testing, and training to various Manufacturing Facilities
  • Lead and/or participate in Windchill MPMLink-related projects and enhancements.
  • Offer Application End User support.
  • Respond, resolve, or escalate reported incidents.
  • May participate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for audits under management direction.
  • Coordinate application needs from Engineering through Manufacturing and Quality business processes.
  • Ensure the stability, integration, and integrity of production systems.
  • Support data governance and lifecycle management activities related to manufacturing master data.
  • Assess application security and identity management requirements, where applicable.
  • Develop business case documentation, scope documentation, detailed functional requirements, operational requirements, process flows, and test cases.
  • Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks.
  • Negotiate tradeoffs with business partners and shape requirements accordingly.
  • Resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating discussions and escalating issues where appropriate.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst or related experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting PTC Windchill PLM solutions required.
  • Experience with Windchill MPMLink, Manufacturing Process Planning, or Manufacturing BOM management preferred.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems such as SAP ERP, MES, or PLM platforms preferred.
  • Project management experience in Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall methodologies preferred.
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI preferred.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Remain current with PLM, Digital Manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 technologies and best practices.
  • Employ established methodology for the identification and documentation of business requirements.
  • Maintain application operational and instructional documentation, as necessary.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 on-call coverage support.
  • Investigate system faults and errors to resolve technical issues and respond to support requests.
  • Benchmark processes against industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of application and technology roadmaps.
  • Champion the adoption of Windchill MPMLink solutions across business departments.
  • Manage projects with limited scope.
  • Produce functional design documents and other relevant documents adhering to the software development lifecycle.

Specialized Skills:
  • PTC Windchill PLM and MPMLink.
  • Manufacturing BOM (mBOM) Management and BOM Transformer.
  • Process Planning, Work Instruction Authoring, and Manufacturing Resource Management.
  • Engineering Change Management and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA integration experience is a plus.
  • Experience in projects with a matrix organizational structure is a plus.
  • Business analysis certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
  • PTC Windchill certifications are a plus.
