Job description

Job Summary:
Secur-Serv is a leading managed services provider of IT, print, and hardware services. The IT Implementation Engineer I role focuses on executing defined project implementation tasks and completing technical deliverables while collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Responsibilities:
• The execution of projects tasks through the understanding of quoted solutions designed to achieve the client’s desired outcomes, and identifying and resolving problems as they arise
• Acts as a resource for other IT staff as needed, while ensuring customer needs and project efforts are fulfilled
• Staging and testing equipment for installs
• Providing remote support for remote installations
• Providing phone support for Field Service Technicians performing on-site installations
• Participating in calls and meetings regarding technical project deliverables and due-dates
• Communicating ongoing project status related to assigned tasks with project management
• Occasional travel to customer locations and performing systems installation within the Greater Omaha area
• Meet all attendance requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience supporting technical implementations, projects, or customer environments
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the following categories: Local and wide area networking including networking equipment
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the following categories: Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the following categories: Computer hardware, including desktop and laptop computers and servers
• Ability to periodically work evenings and/or weekends
• Server Technologies
• Workstations and End-User Computing
• Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, basic firewall concepts, switching and wireless networking)
