Job description

  • Perform technical operational tasks on a routine basis within OLA
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by users and self-detected issues within SLA
  • Independently resolve known issues and 80% of newly occurred issues, including data investigations
  • Monitor and recover all processes
  • Maintain environment stability
  • Coordinate with Level 3 and Development teams to resolve production environment issues and provide feedback
  • Collect environment improvement points and provide plans to the Development team and application owners
  • Plan and coordinate release knowledge sharing, migrations, and disaster recovery documentation
  • Provide knowledge and support training for new team members
  • Develop support and issue-investigation scripts
  • Lead new implementations and rollouts
  • Assume informal/formal leadership roles, and coach and train new recruits
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in application development and/or Application support
  • 3+ years in Ab Initio and Database related projects
  • 3+ years with Unix commands, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, ETL, job scheduling tools, and system monitoring tools like App Dynamic
  • Knowledge on IT service process ITIL and mindset of DevOps
  • Knowledge on Abinitio, Snowflake and shell scripting is preferred
  • Knowledge on Finance accounting domain
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and troubleshooting Log analysis skills throughout application components
  • Basic Business knowledge/understanding of financial markets and products
  • Knowledge/experience of problem management, issue tracking and reporting using tools like ServiceNow
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
