Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced:
FLOOR TECHNICIAN
Job Summary:
  • Dust mop or vacuum corridors daily.
  • Damp mop or vacuum corridors daily.
  • Spray buff designated hard surface areas daily.
  • Shampoo and or extract designated carpeted surface areas daily.
  • Keep corridors free of build-up of dirt, etc., including baseboards and corners.
  • Clean up any spill on corridor immediately using facility procedures.
  • Assist Housekeeping Assistants as needed.
  • Assist with room cleaning for new admissions or room-to-room transfers.
  • Strip, wax and seal floors per schedule.
  • Deep clean resident room floors per schedule.
  • Assist with set-up and cleanup of rooms for meetings as scheduled.
  • Assist with removing soiled linen holding area, and returning clean, empty carts to Soiled Utility Rooms, as necessary.
  • Clean equipment: buffer, mop caddy and bucket at the end of shift. Place soiled mops and buffing pads in a plastic bag and take to laundry for processing.
  • Assist director with duties as requested.
  • Recheck all areas and clean as needed before end of shift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Must attend the required in-services for all staff.
  • Must be able to write and read with clarity sufficient to follow instructions.
  • Must follow cleaning, mopping, and buffing schedules.
  • Must be kind and respectful to residents.
  • Must demonstrate neat appearance and good personnel hygiene.
  • Must read, know and follow personnel, department and Facility policies.
  • Must wear appropriate uniform and name tag.
  • Must know how to reset the fire alarm panel and pull stations.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the fire and disaster plan of Facility and follow procedures.
