Business Development Representative (Restoration Services)

Rainbow Restoration is seeking an energetic, relationship-focused Business Development Representative to help expand our presence throughout Southeast Michigan.

This is not a desk job, and it is not a high-pressure sales position.

We're looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, building professional relationships, networking in the community, and creating opportunities for a growing company that makes a real difference in people's lives.

When disaster strikes, homeowners and businesses turn to Rainbow Restoration for help recovering from water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, contents restoration, and reconstruction services. Our team helps customers navigate some of the most stressful situations they will ever face, and we take pride in restoring not only properties, but peace of mind.

As a Business Development Representative, you'll be the face of Rainbow Restoration in the marketplace, building relationships with plumbers, insurance professionals, insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, facility managers, contractors, municipalities, and other referral partners throughout Southeast Michigan.


What You'll Do

Build and maintain relationships with referral partners and strategic business contacts

Develop and execute sales and territory growth plans

Conduct in-person visits and presentations to prospective referral sources

Attend networking events, trade associations, community functions, and industry meetings

Create and maintain sales routes and CRM records

Follow up with existing referral partners to strengthen relationships and generate repeat opportunities

Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience

Track activities, opportunities, and results through regular reporting

Meet and exceed business development goals


What We're Looking For

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Professional communication and presentation abilities

Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Sales, marketing, business development, customer service, account management, or relationship management experience preferred

Experience in restoration, construction, insurance, property management, or home services is a plus

CRM experience preferred

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record


Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually

Additional Earnings: Competitive commission plan with uncapped earning potential. High performers have the opportunity to significantly increase their compensation through relationship development and business growth.
